Who I Am

I'm a backend and AI engineer who ships production-grade systems — not prototypes. My work lives at the intersection of Python API development, AI/ML integration, and scalable backend architecture.

During my internship at Voliom, I built a full computer vision platform backend with Firebase, Vertex AI, JWT auth, and Docker from scratch — working alongside senior engineers, shipping real code, and going through proper code reviews.

Outside of that, I built Imagenix — a three-service monorepo platform (NestJS + FastAPI + Next.js) integrating Stable Diffusion and Grounding DINO for AI-powered dataset augmentation. That's the kind of problem I enjoy: complex, multi-service, production-intent.

Currently studying Data Science at KFUEIT and looking for roles in AI/ML engineering, backend development, and data systems.

Where I've Worked

Jun 2025 – Sep 2025
Voliom
AI/ML Intern
  • Built the full backend API for a production computer vision platform using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, under Agile workflow with senior developer mentorship and code reviews.
  • Designed a dual-token auth system combining Firebase Auth (email verification) with JWT bearer tokens for stateless, role-aware access control across all endpoints.
  • Integrated Google Vertex AI as background tasks for text-to-image generation and image-to-text analysis; managed image storage via Firebase Storage with structured PostgreSQL metadata.
  • Containerized the full service with Docker and Docker Compose; applied layered SQLAlchemy ORM architecture to decouple routing, business logic, and persistence.
